Who: For 30 years I was an academic by day and an artist by compulsion. Then I retired, so that leaves compulsion.
What: I’m a multidisciplinary artist with a emphasis on acrylics on canvas, drawing, paper arts, theatrical costuming, and writing. In short, if it can be spattered, glued, manipulated, or kludged, I’m game to give it a go. I write essays, creative non-fiction and stories that tread the line between realism and something else—this world but turned widdershins.
Where: The Bouncy Castle Studio sits on the edge of a lake in the beautiful unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, also known as Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.
Why: Because I believe that art is a great way to resist the heat death of the universe.
